About Cloud Peak Backcountry Horsemen

Cloud Peak Backcountry Horsemen is a non-profit organization based in northeast Wyoming. Our team is dedicated to providing local horse enthusiasts with trail information in the Cloud Peak area, gathering as a group to perform volunteer clean up work on existing trails, and providing clinics and activities to help the local community. We are passionate about expanding our educational services, fundraising, and volunteer projects in the future.

Our Mission

At Cloud Peak Backcountry Horsemen, our mission is to preserve and maintain the trails and trailheads in northeast Wyoming, educate the community about responsible trail use, and support the local equestrian community. We strive to create a positive impact through our volunteer efforts and educational programs and clinics.

Trail Stewardship

We take pride in being stewards of the trails in the northeastern areas of Wyoming. Through regular clean up work and maintenance efforts, we ensure that these trails remain accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Join us in our mission to protect and preserve this natural treasure.
